# What is VerdeFi?

VerdeFi is a web3 protocol and DAO designed to gain exposure to the cannabis industry without spending the capital contributed by the community. 

With our model, funds are managed by AI in P2P Lending protocols and other DeFi strategies to get a low risk yield of at least 10% APY. This yield is used to fund the project, while VERDE holders can burn their tokens and withdraw their deposit anytime. It's a slower but safer way to build. 

With this low risk strategy, we look forward to tokenize weed as a RWA on Avalanche with a 10% yearly growth based on the total value locked that stays liquid and available to withdraw.

We already own a sustainable grow with indoor and outdoor plants. The main goal is to expand the number of plants, dispensaries and research we own, with a second option of buying cannabis related stocks with part of the yield.
